Quietly impressed by how Bessingby Park Rangers have performed in only their second season at step 8. No marquee goalscorer grabbing headlines but they have ground out results consistently. 31 points from 12 games tells its own story. If they can keep that form going they are absolutely in the title conversation.

Loved watching Joseph Rice this season. 11 goals and the lad works his socks off every single match. Since the merger with Eastcote British Legion, Ruislip Rangers have had a real sense of purpose about them and Rice has been massive to that. Second in the table and still in it. Come on Rangers!

I do not have a dog in this title race but I have watched FH Whistlers, Ruislip, and Harrow Bhoys all at least twice each this year. You have got three or four genuine contenders and some brilliant individual players. Efraim and Jordan Coles in particular. Someone needs to write a proper piece on this division. It deserves far more attention than it gets.

Say what you want about Jordan Coles but 15 goals for Harrow Bhoys in what has been a proper title race is genuinely impressive. People sleep on this league but the standard in Division One Central this year has been well up. Bhoys in the Intermediate Cup semis as well. Could be a historic season for the club if they push on.

Efraim Odette Difuanmna-Ngungi is absolutely the standout player in this league right now. 17 goals by February? At step 8? That is frightening. FH Whistlers have been the real deal all season and he is the main reason why. I went to watch them for the first time last month and the lad is just on a different level. Properly clinical.
